Co-founder and managing partner of Cambacérès Avocats since November 2014, Bouziane Behillil has been a member of the Paris Bar since January 1992. He holds a DESS postgraduate degree in business and tax law, a Magistère in economic activities law (*Magistère de droit des activités économiques*) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master of Laws in international business, trade and tax law. He joined Baker & McKenzie in 1989 as legal counsel in arbitration, environmental and business law, then practised international business law at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP before founding his own firm.
Practice and background
He acts in business litigation, corporate law, economic law, contracts, criminal law and directors' liability, real estate and construction law, as well as press law.
His practice also covers corporate restructurings, shareholders’ agreements, director exits, settlement agreements, mergers and acquisitions, financings and disposal or acquisition transactions. He works in French, English, Italian, Dutch and Arabic.
He advises on development, market-entry and joint venture formation transactions in Europe, North Africa and several French-speaking African countries, as well as on the prevention and amicable resolution of disputes.
