Holder of a Master II in private law and philosophy of law from Université d'Aix-Marseille, she stood out from the very beginning of her university studies, ranking top of her year in her first year of law. She joined the Institut Portalis in 2013, where she obtained its diploma in legal and moral sciences (*diplôme des sciences juridiques et morales*). Her taste for technically demanding areas of law led her to develop an expertise in real estate law. She spent several years working within the courts, notably in the 18th chamber of the Paris Judicial Court (*Tribunal judiciaire de Paris*), which specialises in commercial leases and rents. She then worked with several Paris firms recognised in commercial lease law and co-ownership law (*copropriété*), handling matters with high technical and financial stakes. Alongside her practice, in 2019 she was awarded the innovation prize of the Paris Bar Incubator (*Incubateur du Barreau de Paris*), recognising an innovative approach to the practice of law and to client support. In 2021, Sarah KRUMHORN moved to Marseille and founded her own firm, dedicated to real estate law and commercial law. In 2026, she joined Bouziane BEHILLIL to co-found a cross-bar firm structured between Marseille and Paris.
Practice and background
Sarah KRUMHORN acts principally for companies, investors and real estate professionals on the acquisition and disposal of commercial premises, the legal structuring of their projects, and the drafting, negotiation and securing of complex commercial contracts.
She also works alongside estate agents, property developers, managing agents (*syndics*) and private individuals, in both advisory and litigation matters, across the full range of real estate law issues, in particular commercial leases, co-ownership, the liability of real estate professionals and landlord and tenant disputes.
She is involved in the preparation of transactions, in amicable negotiation and in the contentious proceedings arising in these areas.
Sarah Krumhorn takes part in the work of several Marseille Bar committees.
